TriVita Vitamin C For Health And Wellness | 133

If you feel like you are coming down with the flu or a cold your first reaction should be to take mega doses of Vitamin C; and is a very good antioxidant and helps you to support your immune system. Very beneficial to take. Of course many will ask, how much is a mega dose? Can I over dose on Vitamin C?

An excellent protocol would be to do the following:

First day: Start with 3000 mg of Vitamin C.
At noon take 2000 mg.
Evening take 2000 mg. .

Second day and continue until normal
Morning take 1000 mg
Noon take 1000 mg
Evening take 1000 mg

No you cannot over dose on Vitamin C. Your body will just throw off what you don’t need, so there is no need to worry unless you have liver problems, or kidney problems. It would be best to talk to your health consultant before doing this. You don’t want to upset a sensitive balance that you and your health consultant are working on.

Now is the time to study this list and begin to include as many of these foods as you can in your diet because they are high in Vitamin C. Remember cooking, even blanching destroys the Vitamin C. So eat as many of these foods that you can and eat them raw. There is one food in this list that I just can’t eat and that is chard. For some reason my gag reflex comes into full play and just won’t allow it.

Food list that is high in Vitamin C.
Broccoli, bell peppers, kale, cauliflower, strawberries, lemons, mustard and turnip greens, brussels sprouts, papaya, chard, cabbage, spinach, kiwifruit, snow peas, cantaloupe, oranges, grapefruit, limes, tomatoes, zucchini, raspberries, asparagus, celery, pineapples, lettuce, watermelon, fennel, peppermint and parsley.

Make a copy of this list and put it on your refrigerator and your grocery list.
