Being a work from home parent can really have its advantages when it comes to home schooling your children. In view of what is going on in our economy it will be economically feasible to combine your work at home with your home schooling.

Home schooling will change your life. It will create very personal growth for you the parent and the children. You will get a real chance at discovering the genius within yourself and in your children. You will create geniuses if you do one thing, and that is to teach your kids the truth. Lies really mess up the young minds. Decisions based upon lies will result in faulty deductions and reasoning and lead one into trouble.

If you like to read you are qualified to teach. Just lead a child to the books and it won’t take very long and you will have an explorer on your hands. I don’t know of many children that don’t love books. Once they understand that it’s your reading that unlocks the information that is printed in the book you will have a ready and willing student that will want to learn and to read.

Home schooling families learn together and it can be a real exciting way of life. It’s already proven that home schooled children are far superior in all things to the under schooled kids of our public school systems. This is a modern crying shame and disgrace to our country and school system. Our school system needs to be returned to home where it belongs and under constant supervision of the home Patriarch and Matriarch. You have all the educational library research capability right at your fingertips. Just turn on your computer and start with all the available libraries. Even the library of congress is available on your computer.

Home schooling is legal in all the states in the United States, however the laws vary from state to state. In order to maneuver without trouble it would be well to contact support groups in your area. Just do a look up on the computer for Home School Support Groups by State. That will put you in the right direction for finding what you need.

Your personal time requirements is a big consideration and keep in mind that a child in the public schools spend most of their time waiting. The biggest problem you will have will be your plan and getting started. Design a plan that works for you and your family. There is no one way that is right or wrong. It’s what works for you and your family and your families happiness that count.

One thing that you will immediately have an advantage over the crap of socializing your child. Your kids won’t have to learn how to socialize among large groups of kids all the same age. They will automatically be socializing among what society really is, mixed ages. I believe it’s unnatural to sort kids into age groups such as the public schools are presently doing. They will be ready and do well at socializing right from the family activities. It is much better that a child learn social behavior from their adult parents rather that from other children their age.

Don’t worry about teaching your kids higher math to prepare them for college. As they begin to get ready for college they will be ready to teach themselves or if necessary a tutor might be advisable. Try to keep it as your objective with teaching is to teach the student how to teach themselves. That is the key to becoming a successful school teacher and sad to say there are few that are accomplishing that. However the home school parents are.

In getting started with home schooling it would be wise to find and become acquainted with other parents that are also home schooling. They will be more than happy to help you with the ropes.

While you are home schooling you will have the time to include your family in creating a family enterprise or a home based business that you can use to earn money that you might need. The most valuable thing that your children will learn is how to create the life of their dreams.

Trust your kids, they will learn without the public school system. They are our hope for tomorrow. Teach them the truth and the true history of our country and point out what are the bad things and how to avoid the mistakes of others. With enough home school graduates they will return the former strength, power and beauty to the world around us.

If you lived in Colonial times of the USA you would probably be a home based business person engaged in farming. The early pioneers were a very industrious people and their education consisted of home schooling and later small community schools very closely guarded and regulated by the parents of the small communities. This was the strength that the USA was built upon and well worth returning to it. Let’s look at one of the points that made our ancestors so great.

Isn’t it strange that during the colonial times in early America prior to the Revolutionary war money was printed by the Colonies, used and circulated freely for decades without problems and it had no backing of gold or silver. It was accepted as a fiat money for legal tender for trading. The same is true of the Lincoln greenback. It also was a fiat money and circulated freely and traded regularly by the people for trading of goods and services. Finally the banks took them out of circulation. Really too bad that they allowed the influence of the Bank Of England to accomplish their dark deeds.

Fractional Reserve banking is a system handed down by the Bank of England for the purpose of allowing a bank to create money out of thin air. For example, if you borrow a thousand dollars you then have the right to issue loans of money into circulation for ten thousand dollars. Now if you collect say ten percent interest you will make a thousand dollars on that original thousand dollars that you borrowed. That amounts to one hundred percent return on your borrowed money. So the banks have a robbery system in place when creating money out of nothing. This is why in colonial times usury (interest) was considered a capital crime punishable by death. If that were enforced today all of a sudden we would have honest bankers.

Writers Block | 086

A work from home business may demand that you learn to write. Right away you may throw yourself a curve. Don’t allow it to happen, just sit down and start writing, even if it’s wrong. You won’t learn to write if you don’t write. It takes practice and it is a learning process and with today’s tools writing has become very easy to do. There are a few things to learn, but then isn’t that what life is about, constantly learning new things. Don’t let that stop you.

Learn to type, learn to use a computer, and learn to use the word processors. This can develop little by little. I learned to type back in 1948 when I was in high school. That‘s been a while ago. I have used it for the past 60 years. As for the word processor it will aid you in editing your writing. It has a spell check and a grammar check. By using that it will give you the confidence that your finished work will be grammatically correct and the spelling will be correct also. However proof reading is essential to catch transpositions that are proper words. Besides you might want to change the way you say something and can change it when proof reading. For myself I won’t compose anything unless I use the word processor.

If you have writers block, just sit in front of your computer and start typing. Your brain is a marvelous wonder of wonders and it continuously processes information. It never ceases to amaze me with all the thoughts and ideas that come to me while writing. Many times the thoughts and ideas come so fast that I can’t keep up with myself and sometimes good ideas get lost. That’s what really gets me, I hate loosing a train of thought to the past. Your mind is created like your Creators and the thing that you will love doing is creative work, so no matter what it is as long as it’s creative. Creative work is like adding fuel to a fire and poking it up and blowing air on it. You have the power within you all you have to do is turn it loose. Write something even if it’s wrong, just correct it. It’s easy to correct if you use word processor.

Do you have a hobby? If you do and you don’t seem to be able to write, go to your hobby and work on it for a while. This will also add fuel to your creative mind. Many times just a nap will do the trick. After taking a nap many times I will wake and bingo, there’s the answer to what I want to write about. Or the answer to my problem has been solved. Your sub-conscious mind is another marvelous part of the brain. It don’t know the truth from a lie and processes thoughts and ideas, even while you are sleeping. Think of your subconscious mind as a helper, it will do a lot of work for all you have to do is shove ideas into it. Good and bad ideas, it won’t care but it will process them.

Keep books handy, especially books by famous successful people. They will inspire you and be good food for that subconscious part of your brain to work with. They float around in there lying dormant sometimes for years and then surface at the most unexpected times and usually just about the time you need it. By surrounding yourself with books about successful people, the next step is to surround yourself with successful people. You may be surprised but when successful people get together they will always talk about ideas. That’s what they do best. Ideas are little breeders, they spawn new ideas. Never reject an idea good or bad, just file it away and it may spawn a real good top notch idea at some later time.

Make an outline of a project, or a book, and almost immediately you will begin to have ideas about your writing. Make a things to do list and if you don’t have things to do, I’m surprised. I never get done, my list just keeps growing sometimes faster that I can finish the list. Think of ways to get your excess work done. Honesty | 085

A couple days ago on the Fox News Network the nose to nose confrontation between Bill O’Reilly and Barney Frank exposed a basic problem in our governments body of politicians. That problem is lying, even in the exposing with proof that the individual lied he continued to lie about it thus compounding his lies. This Clintonista type of conduct is absolutely inexcusable and will not produce good results. The groundwork for lying was enforced and approved during the Clinton administration and has not improved during the Bush administration. Even after impeachment they allowed him to remain in office. What a stink. If just this one thing, if honesty ruled instead of lying would make such an improvement that at first people would think the world is being turned upside down. Wouldn’t it be wonderful in your dealings if we could depend on the other persons honesty. The corruption is so foul that the stench is reaching into the heavens and if we don’t correct it, who will? It will be corrected, and I ask you, by whom? Think about it.

I’m beginning to think that somewhere in the law courses in college there must be a course labeled The Art Of Lying 101, 102, 103 etc. I don’t know if it is true or not but I have heard that in the seminaries that the art of crying effectively is actually taught in some of their public speaking classes. Personally I think their whole course in public speaking is just one great lie. A lot of the TV Evangelists have been experts in this art form of lying and crying. There were some that even combined their drinking of alcohol and their public displays right on TV. There was one released from prison after stealing money for years from the gullible people, that has the intestinal fortitude to return to TV with his stupid appearance of lies and testimonies. All I have to say about that is, how disgusting.

If you check my past blogs I have stated over and over that honesty is the best policy in the conduct of you and your operation of your home based business. At times honesty can be a little troubling at the time, but if you really consider it to its end, you will find that honest really pays. What will always trip you up is that you won’t always remember just what you lied about and stated, honesty has one answer, however lies have many different answers. Multiple choice take your pick and hope it’s the right one. The sad part is that we are learning life’s lessons the hard way. I don’t even want to hear about the little white lie, take it up with God. A lie is a lie. Anybody that thinks a little white lie is ok, they have been derailed and a little white lie will eventually lead to the big one. Color it anyway you want. Do you oldsters remember the term Victory Garden? During the second world war our government urged all families to have a victory garden in order to help the war effort. I was 10 years old when the Second World War started and remember well the rationing and our government telling us that we should all show our patriotic loyalty by having a victory garden. For my family there wasn’t much of a change because we were on a farm and of course part of our farm was devoted to the family garden. We raised fruit and vegetables not to sell but to consume. I think that it would be a good idea to have everybody involved in victory gardening due to the fact that a solid home based business could develop from it. Food and plants are always in demand and fulfilling that demand on a nation wide basis is a tremendous job. There is room for all kinds of specialists in these areas. This would go a long way in destroying the monoculture system of farming and take that kind of system away from big business. The monoculture system of farming is what is destroying our farm lands by denuding and poisoning our soils.
