Good Morning: It’s a good day because it’s good business.

How are your communication skills? Learn to communicate with expression. Use all available tools that are free. I have a telephone that cost’s me $20.00 a year and I can call all over the US and Canada for free. That’s right my phone bill is one dollar and sixty six cents a month. It’s called Magic Jack and I love it. If you don’t believe this exists go to http://magicjack.com . I also use Skype and that is free. I don’t use the telephone services of Skype, I don’t need it, but I do use the instant messaging, that part is nice. It is also a very nice business tool. You can download it for free at http://www.skype.com/ . It takes a little getting used to but just stick with it; remember perseverance is a law of success.

Another communication skill is writing; and in developing your writing skills I urge you to use Microsoft Works Word Processor. Don’t let that scare you off, it’s really a wonderful tool and I do all my writing using this facility. At first it may cause you some frustration but after you use it for a while it will be duck soup; and you will not like not using it. It will give you the confidence knowing your writing is literary correct. The spelling will be correct and the grammar will also be correct if you use those features. If you don’t use them you are wasting your time. When I first started blogging I didn’t want to turn out garbage so I began using Microsoft Works Word Processor. I love it and would not want to be without it. My spelling and grammar have improved as a result of using the Word Processor. It’s really a great tool. As for blogging, do not pass up the opportunity to learn to blog. I avoided it like the plague until Butch Hamilton got hold of me. After I studied his outline for using and setting up a Google Blog I began blogging and have grown to really like it. My blogs are appearing at the top of the search engines of google and have Butch Hamilton to credit for teaching me how to do that.

What does it take to develop a pleasing personality? A whole book was written on this subject, How To Win Friends And Influence People, by Dale Carnegie. This course and book were very popular 50 years ago. It was much too brief and the public speaking part of it was also way too brief. When learning to speak publicly you need much more than just a 2 minute practice speech. There is a lot of advise out there telling you how to do this. If you really establish this as one of your objectives it will take practice. This practice will begin in your mind. You will have to subject every action and things you say to a personal self imposed monitor. It will not be easy. The best rule to use would be the application of the golden rule. Ask yourself, Would I like this if it were happening to me? If you are already in a leadership position you must have proper communication skills keenly developed. One of the most important skills would be to learn to administer correction in the proper manner. Break your correction into three parts. First, your correction must not be in public, it must be privately administered. The objective of correction is just that, correction, not humiliation.

The following rule I had burned into my mind years ago.

1. When administering correction always start on a positive vein, build the person up, do not tear them down.

2. Administer the correction. Be positive but be compassionate and control your cool.

3. End on a positive note. Remember, plus, minus, plus. That’s your framework for giving any kind of correction. Use it and keep it private.

I believe the rule above will do more to develop a pleasing personality than anything else. Along with this rule is patience. It is imperative that you apply patience. Easily said, but doing is another subject. Sometimes rules are so simple that they become forgotten and overlooked. Do not forget this one.

Good Morning: It’s a good day because it’s good business.

Work: Prov: 16:3 Commit your work unto God and your thoughts will be established. Just consider how powerful that statement is. Meditate on it and commit it to your memory. Put it into the framework of your life’s goal. Have you written down your goals? Now is a good time to do it.

Oh no, here we go, that four letter word. If your work is a drudgery to you, then you are doing the wrong thing. Do what you love to do. If you are doing what you love to do and it’s morally right then you are doing the right thing. All successful people love what they are doing. Get it in your mind that hard work is not necessarily drudgery; a lot of people that I know are very hard working successful people and they love what they are doing. Remember if you don’t like the work, hard or easy, you are in the wrong place. You know your self and you probably know what you like to do and what you don’t like to do. If you find yourself in work that you don’t like, either delegate the work or find another line of work. Sure that’s change and most people hate change, but make up you mind if you are not successful and want to become successful this will require change on your part; like it or not. Of course work is important to be successful. If your situation is that you are tied to a job that you hate, ask God to bless your work, you just may be in for a surprise. Don’t be stupid and not recognize an answered prayer. It just may not be the answer you are looking for. Be careful in asking God for things, he just might reach the point and say, ok, if he wants it so bad, I’ll give it to him.

If you got this far, I have just the opportunity that may make the changes in your life that you have been looking for. More income, more control on your time, a laid back type of job. This is not a MLM Lead chasing system which includes cold calling, begging people to join you, trying to talk to people that don’t know you, don’t want to know you and are irritated that you called. Good Morning: It’s a good day because it’s good business.

Don’t be afraid of new ideas. Don’t fight them, learn everything you can about new ideas and you will find that new ideas is the fuel that causes the flames of your mind to become energized. Even a bad idea is worth hearing because it may be the fuel that will cause you to come up with better ideas. There is a magical almost mystical aurora about ideas. The subconscious mind will work on these ideas and suddenly, poof, there it is all laid out and solved. Sometimes a total solution to complex problems. This does happen to me and I don’t know why but it just works. Remember this when it comes to ideas and information, there is a principle which is a solid wall against all information; which is proof against all argument; and which cannot fail to keep you in everlasting ignorance. This principle is contempt prior to evaluation and examination.

When you reach a point where you become stagnant in your work if you will, or your thought processes seem to be withering you need a change in your surroundings. Take some quality time and if you live in the country, go into the city. If you live in the city take a trip into the country. Give your mind a change of diet so to speak. I really think that’s why vacations are so popular. It energizes the body, mind and soul. My daughters are beach people and saying let’s go to the beach is like saying sic’em to a dog. Just to mention it to them and they are up and running and on their way. After your diversion into the country or into the city you will return energized and ready to process new ideas. Believe me it’s ideas that has made this country great and developed the leaders in inventions. I don’t know why but there must be a law of inertia at work within some people because so many fight ideas. Learn to welcome them.

Good Morning: It’s a good day because it’s good business.

June takes me back to my childhood in southern Michigan and strawberry season. School was closed for the summer and it was barefoot time. We lived in a farming community and that meant the kids were turned out into the berry fields to work. Wasn’t that child labor? You bet it was and those little kids and myself included learned how to work and the benefits of working. All through the summer we were occupied in the fields picking, hoeing, weed pulling, and other such chores that made farm units work; and there was plenty of work to go around, it seemed like there was no end to it. During the hottest part of the summer was making hay, today these kids think making hay is a party; actually it was being bareback in the hot sun bringing in loads of hay to the barn and stacking it for winter time use feeding and bedding the animals. It was hard hot work. The best thing about the hard work was getting it done. When I see the kids running in the streets today you know what I think and where they should be. They should be learning the good lessons of life instead of wandering into gangs into a bad way of living. It’s time to come full circle and re-establish good family control and maybe return to an agrarian society. That was really a good way of life. I’m really sorry that I did not try to perpetuate it. We still need milk, eggs and carrots to eat and small gardening has its rewards. I remember the Amish communities near where I grew up and still think they raised well balanced, well behaved, just all around good kids. You may not like what they taught but their results spoke loud and clear. They were certainly all a very valuable asset to the home and community.

There is a way of life that has been and is being developed that will help people to return to a self sustaining style of living with the father and mother being in control. I urge you not to overlook this wonderful opportunity being offered by It’s Good Business. It’s not only going to be a good business for you, it can be a good way of life for you with you in control. Live Below Your Means. One principle of successful people is they save. Live below your means, It is imperative that you live below your means; immediately, and when you get paid, save 10 percent at a minimum. Don’t believe that old lie, live within your means. If you do that, you will never get ahead. Get out of debt! How you may ask? To reduce your debt load, interest load, unnecessary insurance, you must get out of crippling debt. You need to associate with winners. Five years from now, if you have been associating with winners, your income will be the average of those five winners. Look on the opposite side of this coin and it would read, disassociate yourself from losers. If you think you are going to be a helping person, make sure that you are not an enabler. By that I mean do not be taken in by moochers, hard luck Charlies, or people that are just plain lazy and won’t work or anybody on drugs, legal or illegal. Believe me the world is full of these kind of people and they prey on the weak minded. So what if you loose a friend that is a mooch, you just don’t need a chain like that around your neck. I have known of some people that work very hard at not working and believe me it isn’t funny. Watch and listen to a persons mouth and compare it to their actions. Don’t ever give in to the excuses and promises of anybody that takes drugs, legal or illegal, they will lie, cheat, steal your very means of living from you. I have seen it with some of my family members. Do not put that kind of burden on yourself or any family member, it just doesn’t pay. It really hurts all people involved. I will go so far to say that the world is in a mess because of do-gooders. Don’t be a part of it. In the old west, they used to hang horse thieves. They didn’t have a problem with horse thieves because they hung them. They should do the same with car thieves. I can hear the hue and cry now, the lament of the do-gooders. Oh my!

Now, on to a solution for your money problems. Have you been under the heavy burden of the MLM companies, purchasing their very expensive MLM leads, then working with those leads to build a business only to have it collapse? Does that sound familiar? Don’t listen to their fables, run as fast as you can to get away from them. Good Morning: It’s a good day because it’s good business.

Leaders are readers and if you want to be successful you need to think of yourself as being a leader, books to have on hand to read and study. The Bible, you will find that it is full of priceless gems of wisdom. I call it my treasure box. Just the books of Proverbs and Psalms are worth more than all the rest of your library. Within the Bible you will find the complete gateway to a successful rewarding life. Learn to read it and meditate upon what you read and you will soon find yourself making the right decisions. But don’t stop there, there are many other valuable books that you should consider adding to your personal library. I used to have quite a personal library before Hurricane Charlie four years ago took my home and books away; anyway, many of my books just disappeared, however I was able to save my collection of Bibles, but most of my other books are gone. I remember packing them all up, but someone wanted them more than I but the valuable books my Bibles were left for me. Isn’t it strange that they were overlooked. A word of caution, in your new found jewel box maintain a good balance. It’s so easy to become a book worm.

Other books that you might consider adding to your personal library are:

The Law Of Success In Sixteen Lessons by Napoleon Hill. Right now you can obtain a Facsimile Edition published by the Wilshire Book Company. It comes in two volumes soft cover; at a cost of about $30.

The Secret. It describes something called the law of attraction which actually was covered quite well by Napoleon Hill in his 16 lessons.

The Strangest Secret by Earl Nightengale. (LP Audio) You become what you think about.

This is enough to get you started and there are many other good publications out there and it would be well worth your time and money to invest in them. In addition to reading, listen to CD’s and attend as many seminars that you can. Consider this as your lifetime educational plan. It keeps the grey mater stirred up.
